Hanging out with these two was as easy as toasting bread. The hardest part was getting Doug to keep his hands off her bum, sorry Doug. We chose The Foundry to do their engagements. And, while on the subject of their engagement, I want to give Doug huge props. He turn a backyard in to a magical twinkle garden . He hung chandeliers from the trees and wrapped their trunks with lights. So beautiful and romantic…men, take note. (more…)

i love this sweet couple. everything on their wedding day was beautiful and simple. My relationship with afton and matthew is kinda like a love story minus the love part. I met them in one of our favorite hangout spots, the Libertine, Dallas. I am a big people watcher and I saw them out of the corner of my eye. They were sitting at the bar talking and giggling (afton)…Matthew making her laugh, like he does. So I decided that I wanted to take their picture (don’t worry I don’t creep up on people like this, not all the time). I gave them a card and that was that. A week or so later Afton and Matthew asked me to photograph their wedding day at The Savannah, in Sulphur Springs, TX.
